Gambling Services

RCA Trust are the main support provider for gambling-related harms in Scotland. Our services are free, confidential and open to anyone.

One to One Support

Our one-to-one gambling support provides personalised, confidential support tailored to your individual needs and recovery goals.

Working alongside a dedicated practitioner, you'll explore the impact gambling has had on your life, develop practical strategies to reduce or stop gambling, and build the confidence and skills needed for lasting recovery.

Support may include motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, financial wellbeing, coping with triggers, improving relationships, and connecting with other services where appropriate, all through a person-centred approach that puts you in control of your recovery journey.

Once a referral has been made, one of our practitioners will evaluate your responses and arrange a discreet assessment call with you at your convenience.

This will be a chance for you to provide us with any information you feel necessary and ask any questions of your own.

From there you will be welcomed to join a person focused recovery programme made up of twelve sessions. After this time we have the opportunity for ongoing aftercare to help you in your recovery.

Support groups

The RCA Trust offers free, online and confidential support groups to help you with the harms caused by gambling.

Support groups provide a safe, confidential space where individuals can connect with others who understand the challenges of gambling addiction. These groups help reduce feelings of isolation while promoting accountability, resilience, and long-term recovery.
